Sixty Walton Street in Fairlie-Poplar, downtown Atlanta. I remember reading somewhere a while back that this was a rare example of Art Nouveau in Atlanta. However, I think whoever wrote that had a case of wishful thinking. If anything, it’s got a whiff of Romanesque Revival with those arches and the stone banding. The whimsical flowers (?) randomly floating around on the “balconies” are my favorite feature. 60 Walton has served as the headquarters of Occupy Atlanta.
